Getting to Brighton

Brighton is such an accessible town! Here are some ideas about how to get there
(information from http://www.visitbrighton.com/site/tourist-information/travel)

By Rail - Brighton is just under an hour by rail from London. It’s on a direct rail link from the Eurostar Service at St Pancras and from London Gatwick Airport. Please visit www.thetrainline.com to find the best train ticket deals!

By Coach - Brighton is accessible by regular coach connections from London (including Heathrow and Gatwick airports) and many other locations around the UK. Please visit www.nationalexpress.com for direct services.

Also, a handy hint is to check out uk.megabus.com as sometimes you can get a real bargain if you travel into London and then take a train out to Brighton!

By Air - Brighton is just half-an-hour from London Gatwick Airport - so easy for international visitors!

By Road - Brighton is about 45 minutes by road from the M25 London orbital motorway. The address and postcode for the Racecourse are:

Freshfield Road, Brighton, East Sussex, BN2 9XZ

Parking at the Racecourse is free, however parking in the city centre is not - it’s good to research what parking facilities your hotel has before making your journey!

By Bus - for bus services within Brighton, please visit http://www.buses.co.uk/. You can select ‘Race Course’ as your destination and input your starting location to find out how to get to PonyCon from your start point! For example, buses 21, 37, and 37B, run between Brighton Station and the Racecourse.

Accommodation

PonyCon has arranged a cracking deal with Jury's Inn, which is situated right next door to the train station for those of you coming by train. It also accomidates the cheapest overnight parking we have found in Brighton, and is only a ten minute walk to the PonyCon bus route and seafront for all your sightseeing endeavours!
